The Inventory Team Lead will be responsible for enhancing the quality of the guest experience by supporting and maintaining the physical and system inventory and acknowledgement of inventory movements.
Additionally, they will support the physical movement of the goods by helping to coordinate intercompany logistics and implementing receiving practices and demand and supply to all locations.
They will oversee the entire Wine Pick-Up team to ensure order fulfillment from multiple sources and to help manage consumer expectations regarding product pick-up.
The Inventory Team Lead will commit to continuously evaluate, innovate, and upgrade business processes to mitigate risk while increasing pro-active processes and maximizing efficiencies.
Roles and Responsibilities Leadership Performance manage and lead Wine Pick Up team (3-4 Direct Reports) Lead problem solving initiatives and process improvements with the direct reports Assist in the hiring and training of team members as needed to ensure a qualified team of inventory professionals is executing at the highest level.
Shipping, Order Fulfilment, and Will Call Manage the Wine Pick-Up Team, whose responsibilities include:
o Executing in-house pickup and shipping wine orders for Tasting Room orders o Handling all in-house shipping of wine orders, merchandise, wine club releases and additional requests in an accurate and timely manner o Spearheading the returned package program by regularly receiving and re-shipping packages as needed o Maintaining par-level inventory of on-site shipping materials o Staging wine at Clubhouse for daily service, events, and pickups o Ensuring that all wine storage & wine pickup area remain organized and clean o Coordinating Clubhouse order fulfilment during peak event days Inventory Assist Accounting in executing a well-thought and planned out system for inventory counts at each location, reconciling and reducing variances as needed, and incorporating plans for improvement when applicable.
Process orders for all physically moved inventory to the appropriate location, coordinating with on-site team members for efficient processing and our fulfillment center for all BOL recognition.
Determine a proper schedule and execution plan for all Wine Club, Outreach and Special Event order builds while keeping efficiency and process improvement at the forefront.
Ensure all Site Managers/Sommelier are fully informed of allocation movements, release schedules, and inventory availability.
Build and execute campaigns to reduce inventory liabilities accrued through Wine Club and Outreach sales to aid in the recognition of accrued revenues.
Maintain inventory and allocation levels at each location and ensure both are in balance.
Lead Clubhouse monthly inventory counts o Perform monthly physical inventory counts at all locations as needed and perform spot counts when necessary Manage incoming sample requests for Clubhouse events, executive team, media, promotions, and other events, in partnership with the Sales Operations Manager Logistics Facilitate communication with each service location to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of wine inventory movements.
Effectively communicate and maintain a positive relationship with location managers, in-house sales operations team, and our fulfillment warehouse to keep the company logistics function moving seamlessly.
Requirements and
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree:
Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business focus preferred.
2-4
years of experience in Supply Chain, Inventory, or logistics.
Flexible schedule that can include weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as needed.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and delegate tasks as appropriate.
Ability to enhance reporting and process through advanced systems skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of an organization.
Communicate effectively using open, professional dialogue and solution focused communication.
Demonstrated ability to research and resolve problems, including data mining and analysis.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities to meet deadlines on short notice.
Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office, with strong emphasis on Excel.
